  Laco Majster Slova, (Laco, the Lord of the Word) - his real name is Ladislav Bacik and, as rumor has it, “Lord of the Word” is in his birth certificate. He hails from the village of Stary Tekov, which is situated only a few kilometers from Levice, Slovakia. He started a career in hip-hop, because he was inspired by “that rhytm”. He confesses that the beginnings were hard, but everything is much better now. He has experience with every single element of the hip-hop scene: Laco does breakdance, DJing, and he can even scratch with a telephone! He can also spray graffitti with a basic mobile phone, as we witness in the video to “Spray Hey”. His success is also reflected by the fact that he owns a BMW (“nech ti nejebe”), to which he demonstrably shows the keys in the video to “Kolko je na svete raperov ?”, just in case that someone wouldn’t believe him. Fame bestowed Laco with more than 100 groupies, but unfortunately, a lot of enemies as well; however, he doesn’t care about them and they will never get rid of him (as he stated in one of his interviews). Only a person who envies him can be his enemy. And, believe us, there is a lot to envy. Despite having achieved in his short 17 years many things that others dream of their whole lives, he also values education. His emphasis on education is attested by the fact that Laco attends vocational school (SOU), where he is probably learning to become a painter. Laco fucks the world. Laco, as every true hip-hoper, has experience with the criminal underworld and drugs. He has contacts with the highest persons on the Slovak political scene.
